The master's degree program prepares students for advanced social work practice in a variety of environments for four semesters. Students are instructed on the various theories of individual and group behavior as well as community system theory,, and the application of this knowledge into social work practice, such as social service and program planning.
The purpose of the doctoral program is to prepare scholars, leaders, and professional social workers to generate new knowledge on the policies and programs of social welfare as a response to dynamic change in human environment. Moreover, this program is designed to address the wide range of skills and knowledge required of a professional social worker, and it is completed over six semesters.
After graduation, all Graduate students will earn a second grade License of Social Work. They can also earn a first grade License of Social Work by passing the national exam accredited by the Korean Association of Social Workers.
